Paul and Claire Wood established their flower shop in 1933 on South College Avenue with the focus on quality and service. Paul had worked in the floral industry for several years in both Denver and Fort Collins before deciding to open his own shop in the midst of the depression. Through their strong perseverance and dedication, the Wood’s business thrived in downtown Fort Collins.
As space became an issue, the Woods relocated in 1960 to the current location at 111 West Olive Street, making their home in the back of the shop for the first 5 years. After serving the community for over 40 years, the Woods retired and sold the shop to Judy Boggs in 1979. In the decades that followed, Judy and her staff have continued to enjoy success.
Today, Paul Wood Florist is still dedicated to providing our customers with the best quality and service. Our staff is friendly and knowledgeable— we’re not happy until you are.
